Ghent Sportsman's Association

Welcome to
The Ghent Sportsman's Association, Inc. 

This association was chartered in 1914 by sportsmen for the betterment of the community.

This organization was created to promote interest in hunting, fishing, trap shooting and other lawful sports; to aid in the protection, preservation and conservation or property, birds, fish and game, and to provide social and athletic recreation for it's members and friends.

To propagate, preserve and protect fish
To procure the enactment of laws for the preservation and protection of fish and game
To oppose and defeat any laws detrimental to fish, game or true conservation
To create and foster a public sentiment in favor of better protection of fish and game
To promote an appreciation of sportsmanlike methods in fishing, hunting and conservation
to aid in reforestation and in the prevention of forest fires
